Yaroslav Eferin
Yaroslav Eferin has almost five years of experience working with the World Bank on topics related to digital economy, data policy, digital platforms, digital strategies (including AI strategies), digital ethics. Before joining the World Bank, Yaroslav worked for Russian Venture Company in Moscow and for the Centre for Social Innovation in Vienna where he analyzed science, technology and innovation policies in developed and emerging countries. He also worked for the Higher School of Economics on a broad spectrum regional development themes. He holds a PhD in economics, an MA degree in governance in science, technology and innovation and a BA degree in world economy from the National Research University Higher School of Economics. He speaks Russian, English, and German.
